Credit arrangements
There are currently no formal credit transfer arrangements for entry to this course. Any previous study or work experience will only be considered as part of the application process in accordance with current course rules and university policy.

- From 2025, unit 12055 Marketing Analytics has been replaced by unit 12157 Social Marketing - Marketing for Good.
- Unit 11180 Marketing Research Methods has been closed and replaced with unit 12055 Marketing Analytics from 2024.
- From 2025, unit 12054 Big Data in Marketing has been replaced by unit 12158 Big Data and Marketing Analytics.
- Unit 11181 Relationship Marketing has been closed and replaced with unit 12054 Big Data in Marketing from 2024.
- Unit 11177 Negotiation and Sales Management has been closed and replaced with unit 12053 Integrated Marketing Communication from 2024.
- Units 11218 and 11217 are no longer offered. Students who previously completed 11218 and/or 11217 will still have it count towards their completion of SM0016.

- Please note that if a student wishes to complete the 24cp major, they must select two of the Level 3 offerings in the restricted choice options from the Core Major in Commerce and Accounting (CM0005).

- 1. Students undertaking the 24cp major are NOT eligible for CAANZ or CPA Australia accreditation, unless they are enrolled in and complete MGSC01 Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Laws.
- 2. Students in MGSC01 Bachelor of Commerce/ Bachelor of Laws must also complete unit 11293 Taxation Law.
- 3. Students seeking CAANZ and CPA Australia accreditation must complete the 33cp major.
- 4. Completion of the 39cp major will enable students to meet the educational requirements of the Tax Practitioners Board in addition to that of CPA and CAANZ.
- From Semester 1 2022, 11762 Auditing and Assurance has replaced 11218 Auditing.
- From Semester 1 2022, 11767 Advanced Issues in Accounting has replaced 11217 Contemporary Issues in Accounting.
- Must pass 24 credit points from anywhere in the University, as a breadth major, a breadth minor and/or as individual units.
- Units 12047, 12048 and 12049 will require students to use Open Elective credit points. It is advised that students seek course advice should they wish to study these units.
