The University's sustainability agenda seeks to identify and resolve utility and material resource waste across campus, while improving the efficiency of new and existing infrastructure. The University also seeks to promote sustainable behavior in campus culture by providing guidance for staff and students on how to reduce their personal impact.

Sustainability Strategy

The University's first Sustainability Strategy was launched in 2010 and was a 5 year plan that articulated University's vision for a sustainable future and guides the University’s approach to embedding sustainability throughout key result areas; curricula, research and operations.

The University is currently in the process of developing an updated Sustainability Strategy that will cover the period from 2018 to 2022 and will pave the way for future sustainability initiatives on Campus.
