This credit arrangement is for students who intend to complete one of the following Specialist Majors within the Bachelor of Business:
- SM0016 Accounting (24, 33cp and 39cps)
- SM0017 Business Economics
- SM0022 Human Resource Management
- SM0023 International Business
- SM0024 Management
- SM0025 Marketing
- SM0095 Government
Students who intend to complete the Accounting and Finance Major are not eligible for this credit arrangement. A separate credit arrangement is available for these students.
SM0016 Accounting is Accredited by CAANZ and CPA Australia.
Students wishing to meet the educational requirements of the Tax Practitioners Board in addition to that of CPA and CAANZ will need to complete 11550 Advanced Revenue Law and 11573 Law of Financial Services as open electives.
Students not wishing to be eligible for membership of Aust/NZ accounting professional bodies can choose an open elective unit instead of units 11220 (Business Law), 11221 (Revenue Law), & 11222 (Law of Business Associations).
Valid for Diploma qualifications completed within the last 10 years.
