Learning outcomes
After successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:1. Utilise key concepts and models of labour economics and interpret labour market statistics published in journals, books and reports;
2. Analyse the effect of government policies and emerging challenges on labour markets;
3. Evaluate how pay and incentive schemes enhance workforce productivity for different types of jobs and organisations; and
4. Communicate knowledge of labour market issues through writing, oral or visual presentation.
