University elections will be held in September 2025 to fill vacancies on the University Council, the Student Representative Council and the UniSuper Consultative Committee with all terms commencing 1 January 2026.
Nominations are now open for the following positions:
University Council
Two-year terms
Student Representative Council
One-year terms
UniSuper Consultative Committee
Four-year term

Once you have reviewed all details and confirmed you meet the nomination criteria, please complete the following and submit to elections@canberra.edu.au:
N.B. The statement and photo will be included on the electronic ballot sent to your electorate.
Election procedure
University elections are conducted in accordance with the University of Canberra (Election of Staff and Student Members to Academic Board and Council) Rules 2024 and the Student Representative Council Election Procedures.
If more than one nomination is received for a position, an electronic ballot will be held for that position.
Electronic ballots will open Monday 15 September. Members of each electorate will receive an email with a link to vote. Ballots will close at 5pm on Friday 26 September.
Candidates will be notified directly of the results. All results will then be declared on this webpage by Friday 10 October 2025.
