UC Alumni Book Club

We’re excited to announce the launch of the University of Canberra Alumni Book Club! In this online community, alumni will connect with each other to read and discuss books on a range of topics, as well as member-submitted recommendations.

There is no cost to participate – you just have to get a copy of the book to enjoy.

How does it work?

The book club will connect through a private online forum where members can discuss the current book and network with each other. The group will spend approximately two months on each book, so you'll have plenty of time to read.

The club is overseen by PBC Guru, an organisation that manages professional book clubs for companies, libraries, and alumni associations. They will be moderating our book club to help make this program a great experience for all participants.

If you have any questions, please visit Frequently Asked Questions or email the team at PBC Guru.

Session 1 - March 18, 2022

The first session of the University of Canberra Alumni Book Club will begin on Friday 18 March, 2022. The first book is The Midnight Library - a funny and heartwarming novel from the Sunday Times bestselling author of How to Stop Time and Reasons to Stay Alive.

What is the book about?

Between life and death, there is a library, and within that library, the shelves go on forever.

Every book provides a chance to try another life you could have lived. To see how things would be if you had made other choices . . .

Would you have done anything different, if you had the chance to undo your regrets?

Where can I purchase The Midnight Library?

The book is available from a variety of stores, both online and in-store
