My eQuals is a secure and trusted provider of certified digital document services that allows you to securely share your documents online with anyone, including employers and other universities.
An email notification will be sent to you once your document has been generated which will include a link to your MyEquals account. If using MyEquals for the first time you will need to register and you will then receive a second email with a link to activate your account. You must register and login with the email address your email notification was sent to in order to see your documents.
Ensure that your MyEquals account email is updated to include your personal email before your UC student email account closes (1 month after graduation) so that you don't lose access to your digital documents. When logged in you can use the 'Profile > Link' settings to link additional email and social accounts to your MyEquals profile. Email notifications will be sent to your 'primary' email only.
If MyEquals is not working, first ensure that you are using the latest browser version of Chrome, Firefox or Safari. If the problem persists email support@digitary.net. UC does not provide support for the MyEquals tool.
A testamur is the official academic certificate, signed by the Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor and received by each student free of charge at their graduation ceremony confirming the completion of their award. A testamur is not an academic transcript and does not include details of academic results and grade point average. A replacement testamur may be purchased to replace a lost or damaged testamur, or if the recipient has changed their name.
There is a $150 fee for each replacement testamur picked up at the Student Centre.
To authorise someone else to pick up your certificate on your behalf
You will need to complete a third party authorisation form and email it to student.centre@canberra.edu.au with attached copies of photo identification for yourself and your chosen third party.
If postage is needed, an additional fee will apply as below:
There is a $50 fee for each MyEquals digital certificate. You do not need to complete a Statutory Declaration to obtain a digital version of your graduation certificate. Please reference your student ID number on your order. If you do not know your student ID, please check your most recent emails from the UC Alumni team or alternatively, email Student.Centre@canberra.edu.au.
If lost, a statutory declaration must be supplied as supporting evidence. This declaration must include an explanation of the circumstances in which the testamur was lost or destroyed and an undertaking to return the replacement certificate if the original testamur is subsequently found.
If you are seeking a replacement testamur due to damage or a name change, previous testamurs must be returned to the University, either via post or in person. Replacement certificates will only be issued on return of previous testamurs. Registered mail to, or drop off at:
