Accessible Parking

Free parking is available for persons with a valid Australian Disability Parking Permit or a Temporary Australian Disability Parking Permit*

If the sign indicates a time limit of:

  • 30 minutes or less: you can park there for up to 2 hours.
  • Excludes Loading Zones.
  • If behind a boom gate you must validate your disabled permit at the UC security desk (email copy to security@canberra.edu.au) and parking is added to your UC pass.

Alternative accessible transport

There are a number of alternative, accessible transport options for getting to and moving about our campus.

Mobility Scooters

A small number of mobility scooters available for use by staff and students. For more information contact Inclusion and Engagement.

Public Transport

Transport Canberra provide easy access buses and services for hearing, vision and mobility impaired users.

Wheelchair Accessible Taxis

To order a wheelchair accessible taxi, call 139 287 or 13WATS.
