TV studio

Used for film, digital media and broadcast training, UC’s TV studio supports a wide range of production scenarios. You’ll develop practical studio experience using the same techniques and production processes used in the media industry. 

UCFM

UCFM is Canberra’s #1 student radio station! Run by students, UCFM offers opportunities to build your tech, media and journalism skills. Get experience on live broadcasts, radio programming, podcasts and more.

Recording booths

Access purpose-built booths for recording and streaming for video, podcasting and digital media production. With different suites available, you’ll have the perfect place to create clear and polished sound and vision.

Editing suites

Access specialised editing suites featuring industry-standard software for video, audio and digital production. These suites are here to build your post-production, storytelling and technical skills across your creative projects.

Media Resource Centre

The Media Resource Centre provides a wide variety of professional production gear for loan, supporting both in-studio and on-location work, including cameras, lighting, audio equipment and specialised media production tools.

    When you’re in high school, they say ‘this isn’t going to be what it’s like at uni, you can’t just reach out to your teachers...' but that was one of the first things I noticed when I came to UC.
