Dr Allyson Flynn PhD, BPhysio(Honours) is a physiotherapist at the University of Canberra with teaching and research responsibilities. Her research focuses on ways to provide sustainable physiotherapy to people with Parkinson’s disease. She has extensive clinical experience working with people with Parkinson’s disease, including setting up the University of Canberra Student Led Parkinson’s Clinic.

Emeritus Professor Colleen Canning PhD, MA, BPhty is recognised internationally as a physiotherapy expert in Parkinson’s disease and has extensive experience in leading randomised controlled trials in people with Parkinson’s disease. She has led large multi-disciplinary teams in conducting pragmatic clinical trials of exercise interventions, enhanced by technology, in authentic community/home settings as a deliberate strategy to facilitate the translation of evidence into practice.

Associate Professor Natalie Allen PhD, BAppSc(Phty)(Honours) is a physiotherapist at The Sydney University who teaches physiotherapy students and leads research that aims to improve the lives of people living with Parkinson’s. Her research focuses on exploring the role of physiotherapy to improve mobility, reduce falls and manage pain. She also works closely with Parkinson’s NSW as a member of their Education Advisory Committee.

Dr Serene Paul PhD, BAppSc(Phty)(Honours) is a physiotherapist at The Sydney University with teaching and research responsibilities. Her research focuses on evaluating healthcare utilisation, sustainability and health outcomes of evidence-based allied health interventions for people with and without Parkinson’s disease. Her research also aims to develop effective and sustainable physical interventions to maximise function and slow disease progression for people with Parkinson’s disease.

Mr Jeremey Horne, BAppSc(Phty) and BAppSc(Sport Science) is a physiotherapist with extensive clinical experience in rehabilitation, including people with Parkinson’s disease. He developed a Parkinson’s Disease Wellbeing Program, which included both education and exercise based sessions for people with Parkinson’s disease.

Ms Melani Boyce, MAppSc(Phty) and BAppSc(Phty) is a physiotherapist with extensive experience treating people with a range of neurological movement disorders including Parkinson’s disease and Dystonia. She is currently undertaking her PhD at the University of Technology Sydney.
