Cultural Heritage and Conservation Lab
Our Cultural Heritage and Conservation lab supports a wide range of work on heritage artefacts. Analyse the chemistry of your artefacts with handheld FTIR and XRF machines, dive into their surfaces with our Leica DM7200 microscope and check their colour and reflectivity with our Konica Minolta spectrophotometer. Clean their surfaces magically with our brand-new Compact Phoenix laser, remove stains with our suction table or gently remove creases with the heated spatula or the Preservation Pencil. Then prepare them for display with perfect infills created using tiny eyelash-shaped needles and colours mixed in the metamerism cabinet.
