Application Process and Key Dates
The 2027 program application has now closed. For 2028 commencement, please check back in late 2027.
Eligibility
To proceed past the Expression of Interest phase of the BrightStart program, candidates should ensure they meet the below criteria.
- Intend to, or have already applied, to the University of Canberra for one of these eligible courses:
- Bachelor of Engineering (Hons)
- Bachelor of Business Informatics
- Bachelor of Information Technology
- Currently a high school/college student and will complete your schooling in 2026, or completed high school/college in 2025.
- Eligible for a Commonwealth Supported Place for your chosen course.
- Able to commit to full-time enrolment (four units per semester) at University of Canberra for the duration of your degree, commencing in Semester 1, 2027.
- Able to commit to a part-time, 2 days per week position at Deloitte, Canberra, commencing in 2027.
Please note that while we encourage anyone who meets the above criteria to apply, potential applicants will also need to demonstrate they meet additional criteria included in the EOI form.
