Industry internships develop PhD candidates’ transferable skills, research capabilities and improve graduate employability
The PhD Industry Internship Program provides opportunities for PhD candidates to undertake an industry internship in industry, government, NGO’s or community to better prepare them for their post PhD career in academia or industry.
Industry Internships support candidates to:
- develop and demonstrate transferrable skills
- engage with industry or profession and translate research into practical solutions
- build professional networks, and
- enhance career options and employability
