How to Find a Host

You have the flexibility to secure an internship through several channels:

  • UC Careers Hub: Browse current openings on CareerHub.
  • Self-Sourcing: Proactively approach organisations in your field of study.
  • BGL Canvas Site: Monitor the faculty page for regular opportunity updates.
  • Current Employment: You may be able to intern with your current employer, provided the internship tasks are distinct from your regular role and (ideally) under a different supervisor. You will need to draft a letter that is signed from both your existing and new supervisor about the role and task differences.

How to Enrol

Once you have identified a potential host, follow the Step-by-Step Enrolment Guide.

If the link is unavailable:

  1. Log into CareerHUB.
  2. Navigate to the Internship & Placement Hub.
  3. Select BGL Internships.
