Professor Ali Quazi

Marketing Management

Professor Ali Quazi

A leading researcher and award-winning teacher, Professor Ali Quazi is an expert in the areas of corporate social responsibility, environmental management, marketing, services management and educational management.

Professor Quazi has authored 130 research articles, he is the supervisor of 17 Higher Degree Research students, a Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute and a Certified Practicing Marketer.

For his excellence in teaching and research, Professor Quazi has received the National Citation Award for Teaching, Dean’s Best Researcher Award, the best PhD Supervisor Award by the International Consortium of Electronic Business and the Vice-Chancellor’s Teaching Excellence Award.


Dr Doug Jackman

Accounting

Dr Doug Jackman

Assistant Professor in Human Resource Management (HRM), Dr Doug Jackman brings a wealth of industry experience and connections into the classroom to ensure students are work ready on graduation. His extensive experience includes working as a practitioner, manager, executive and consultant in the HRM industry.

Doug was instrumental in the development of our new Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management) and Master of HRM degrees into which he has carefully designed a student journey to ensure that students are able to seek professional certification in HRM on graduation.

Doug’s passion is to facilitate autonomous learning and student feedback highlights his “highly effective and engaging teaching style” and “knowledge of industry”. He has been the recipient of numerous awards for his “Contribution to Student Learning”. His research interests include the enhancement of student engagement and academic performance in Human Resource Management education and he was awarded a PhD for his thesis titled “Client Service and Court Security: ‘Softening the Barrier to Enhance Court Safety” in 2016.


Dr Raechel Johns

Marketing and Management

Dr Raechel Johns

A co-author of two books and an author of over 40 academic publications, Dr Raechel Johns is a leading thinker around marketing and management topics.

Having taught in Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, and China, and presented at numerous international conferences, Dr Johns brings an international perspective to her teaching and research.

Dr Johns's research focuses on how technology improves or hinders the service delivery process and the relationship between an organisation and their customers.
