Hands-on experience

Work Integrated Learning (WIL) is a core component of all Politics, Economics and Society courses at UC, allowing you to gain professional experience alongside your degree.

UC’s Bachelor of Politics and International Relations and Bachelor of Social and Economic Policy offer a range of internships, that help give you a better understanding of business practice. Step out of the classroom and into the real world with approximately 75 hours of practical experience.

Pathways to Politics for Women

Our Pathways to Politics Program for Women is a proudly non-partisan initiative that aims to change the face of politics by equipping women with the skills, knowledge, confidence, and networks they need to run for elected office and thrive as political leaders. There are no fees to participate in this program.

Applications for our 2024 program will open in early 2024. We are now taking expressions of interest.
