The University and Snow Foundation aim to support students through their studies. Your funding will be tracked in consultation throughout your studies and we would try to avoid this situation. Further discussion may need to be held or you could be required to fund your studies yourself.

It is expected that you will cover the costs of your tuition fees, whether you elect to pay these upfront, or use the HECS-HELP scheme.
This scholarship is to support students in completing their undergraduate degree full-time where possible. Students who do not successfully complete their studies (units of study) may have the scholarship withdrawn.
Leave of Absence may be approved under exceptional circumstances. This would need to be discussed with University of Canberra representatives.

No, the scholarship cannot be transferred to another university program. The scholarship will be awarded based on study with the University of Canberra.
We understand that a student’s circumstances may change at any time. Students wishing to withdraw from their studies and/or the scholarship would need to speak with a University of Canberra representative.
Successful recipients of the scholarship will be monitored and supported by a University staff member. They will assist you to stay on track where possible. If you fail to meet requirements the scholarship may be withdrawn. Your place at the University will remain as long as you are meeting academic progress and conduct requirements.
Students will receive health, wellbeing and academic support throughout their studies. Students may also access tutoring for specific units.
Snow Scholars will have access to a dedicated study and relaxation space to enjoy each other’s company, relax, participate in development opportunities, and to study.
The Program Manager of the scholarship program will be available for Snow Scholars to provide advice, lead the development program and assist in management of studies and work opportunities.
Successful recipients will become part of the Snow Scholars Alumni, and be given the opportunity to be an active member of the University community, abide by all rules and policies, including the Student Charter, and be willing to collaborate in marketing events of the Snow Scholars Program.
