The Graduate Certificate in Communication has been designed for professionals moving into management or senior roles who want to deepen their understanding of communication theory, strategy and behavioural insights, and digital data analytics and visualisation. Those studying the Graduate Certificate in Communication (Engagement) will build on the internationally recognised Certificate in Engagement from the International Association of Public Participation Australasia (IAP2A), by studying crisis and reputation management and engagement with diverse communities. Credit is available into the Master in Communication and Graduate Diploma of Communication upon successful completion of the Graduate Certificate of Communication.
Applicants must have an undergraduate degree (AQF level 7) or equivalent.
Students who have completed a Certificate in Engagement with International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) may be eligible to receive Credit for 1 unit (3 Credit Points) with relevant work experience into the Engagement Stream.
Alternate entry pathways are available to IAP2 graduates without Bachelor's qualifications in accordance with the Admission (for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Coursework Courses) Procedure.
