It is with sadness that the ANME records the recent death of Emeritus Professor Richard (Dick) Selleck.
Professor Selleck has been for many years, a Patron of the ANME who, on numerous occasions visited the Museum. He enthusiastically supported and encouraged its early development and continuous expansion.
Prof. Selleck was the author of Issue No. 1 of the ANME’s Monograph Series publications, established in 2008. Its title is A Cold Coming and is based upon Professor Selleck’s lecture on the occasion of the AMNE’s Annual Lecture Series in the History of Australian Education during that year.
Professor Selleck was for many years Professor of Education at Monash University.
