Fraud currently being committed using the University’s name?

The University is aware of fraudulent attempts to gain goods by deception claiming to originate from and representing the University of Canberra.

The correct and valid internet domain for the University of Canberra  is “canberra.edu.au”. This domain is used for all official email and web communications. Any communications originating from other domains must be treated as suspicious.

The University actively pursues the removal via “take down notices” of fraudulent internet domains that appear or attempt to impersonate the University of Canberra.

Attempted fraud should be reported to the police in the jurisdiction in which your business is based
