Biography
Katherine has been a practicing occupational therapist for over 15 years, working in the field of adults and older adults across the streams of acute care, inpatient rehabilitation of community care. Her specialty areas include pressure care, home modifications and equipment prescription. Katherine is also a PhD candidate with her research comparing pressure mattresses for wound healing for older adults living in their own homes. Through this work, Katherine has presented at conferences and training sessions on pressure care and participated in the development of the 2019 International Pressure Injury Guidelines.
