Student Health and Medical Services

Castle Hill Family Doctors (Castle Hill, NSW)

UCSH students have access to a local bulk billed medical Centre in Castle Hill, NSW – Castle Hill Family Doctors. The Centre is open 7 days a week and provides medical and health service and support for UCSH students.

UC Medical and Counselling Centre

UCSH students have bulk billed access to UC’s Medical and Counselling services at Bruce either in person or through Telehealth. Important: Current Medicare legislation requires that an individual must have been seen at least once in the medical practice (i.e. UC Medical & Counselling Centre) in the past 12 months for a face-to-face medical consultation in the practice, before they are eligible for bulk billed Medicare telehealth services. This does not apply to UC’s Counselling services, and therefore UCSH students are able to access psychology services through UC’s Counselling centre via telehealth. UC also provides an afterhours crisis support line.
