The Diploma of Communication offers international students a pathway to the second year of the Bachelor of Communication in Advertising, the Bachelor of Communication in Public Relations, the Bachelor of Communication in Media and Public Affairs, the Bachelor of Journalism, the Bachelor of Media Arts and Production, the Bachelor of Arts, and the Bachelor of Arts in International Studies. Students studying the Diploma gain advanced standing into their degree and they are also supported in the development of the language and academic skills required to ensure ongoing success in their undergraduate studies. The Diploma consists of two College terms of study. The extended Diploma consists of three College terms of study.
Students are required to meet English Language requirements and general admission requirements to the University of Canberra College.
