Learning outcomesOn successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:
1. Understand the core concepts of a digital business and how these differ from more traditional organisations;
2. Identify opportunities for improvement in established organisations through digital methodologies;
3. Design digital business strategies to improve value for existing customers and to attract new customers;
4. Clearly articulate the challenges that digital disruption beings to traditional business models; and
5. Design disruptive digital business models.

Special assessment requirements
To pass this unit, students must obtain an aggregate mark of 50% or more.
Daily activity on the Ducere Learning Management System is strongly recommended.
Required IT skills
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite or equivalent is highly recommended.
A desire to explore new software and technologies is encouraged.
