This unit covers material from a number of different disciplines. As such, there is no one textbook that adequately covers its themes. Instead a Reading List will be compiled and will be available to the student via Canvas.

All assessable items must be submitted or performed. Failure to do so will result in an NC (Fail) grade being awarded for the unit.
Attendance at the week 1 seminars, week 5 individual appointments, and online engagement with your peers around the Research Proposal oral presentation is expected. Participation in the writing and researcher development sessions is strongly encouraged.
Required IT skills
General computing skills are required. This includes being able to access, download and post items on/from the UCLearn site.
Any cost incurred for projects/research must be covered by students. Please plan your project according to your financial capacity.
