This unit will provide students with an overview of workplace injury management and return to work strategies. Principles of workplace rehabilitation and legislative requirements specific to ACT/NSW will be covered. In addition, the unit will address how EP practitioners report to key healthcare providers and case managers, along with other industry professionals, and it will cover the relevant business practices associated with developing an exercise physiology practice.
1. Demonstrate an understanding of the regulatory and business principles governing exercise physiology practice;
2. Compile relevant clinical documentation including reports for health, allied health practitioners and the compensation industry; and
3. Demonstrate an understanding of the key business principles required to develop an exercise physiology practice.
Learning outcomes
On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:1. Demonstrate an understanding of the regulatory and business principles governing exercise physiology practice;
