Under the guidance of a supervisor the student will undertake research and prepare a dissertation on a topic approved by the Divisional Research Degrees Committee. The thesis will be examined by two external examiners.
1. A thorough understanding of the research process including critical evaluation of the literature and the methodology and methods chosen for the specific research topic; and
2. The capacity to present a well written piece of work that critically evaluates the results of the research and their relevance to the nursing profession.
Learning outcomes
