Honours Research Thesis 18cp (12cp) (7333.6)

The Honours Thesis is a research project of approximately 20,000 words or equivalent and one of the most significant pieces of research in a student career. The Honours Thesis develops critical, analytical and practical research skills. Students will develop a research thesis, apply their research methodology and design, and provide evaluation of their research demonstrating original and/or independent thought and action.

Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:
Demonstrate the ability to undertake an original research project, demonstrate skills and understanding of research processes, understand the nature of research and independent thinking and action, complete the research thesis within the timeframe and demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with the supervisor.
