This unit commences with an overview of body tissues and homeostasis and then takes a regional approach to examine the structure and function of the musculoskeletal and nervous systems.
1. Recognise and describe the macroscopic and microscope structure of the above body systems;
2. Understand and explain how the above systems carry out their functions; and
3. Understand and explain how the above systems interact with each other and the rest of the body in the maintenance of homeostasis.
Learning outcomes
