An applicant for the Master of Education course may be permitted to proceed by thesis, alone following consideration of his/her thesis proposal by the Master of Education Committee. Normally it is expected that applicants for the MEd. thesis possess a first degree at honours level, or equivalent, in addition to meeting the entry requirements applying to the more usual course work of Master of Education. The Thesis (Type 1) shall comprise advanced study and research embodying an original investigation of a topic falling within one of the fields of study in education. Each student will conduct research over a period of no less than four semesters under a supervisor appointed on the advice of the Master of Education Committee and confirmed by the Divisional Board.
Availability for enrolment in 2022 is subject to change and may not be confirmed until closer to the teaching start date.
