- Identify and refine of a specific and significant area of research interest in education consistent with the identified Faculty Topic.
- Review and critique of the existing literature leading to the formulation of a research problem and questions.
- Design an appropriate investigation for application to the research problem and write research proposal
- Effectively communicate their research in introductory and confirmation seminars within the faculty
