Learning outcomes
On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:1. Plan, safely perform and evaluate routine and complex radiographic examinations, including a range of low-level trauma and paediatric examinations under direct supervision;
2. Apply ethical, professional, and culturally safe practices, adhering to radiation safety principles and legal standards;
3. Demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills in diagnostic radiography and interprofessional healthcare, maintaining safe and respectful patient care; and
4. Apply knowledge and skills in diverse contexts, applying appropriate radiographic approaches to patient presentations, recognising and responding to patient deterioration and ensuring appropriate management.
