Leading Transformational Projects PG (12300.1)

This unit guides you through the philosophies, strategies, approaches, processes, tools and techniques that are essential to project management. It equips you with capabilities and skills required in a project's life cycle, from initiation, planning, implementation to delivery and completion. The unit also encourages innovation and entrepreneurship, both independently and collaboratively, to advance new thinking and practices in project management. The unit covers not only hands-on project management, but also interpersonal, communication, collaboration, stakeholder engagement and leadership skills.

Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:
1. Critically reflect on and apply project management knowledge and skills, including those related to collaboration, communication or leadership;
2. Critique project management approaches and practices, particularly in relation to their innovation and adoption of new ways of thinking; and
