This microcredential provides crucial employability skills in AI. Structured in three modules, the content progresses from foundational knowledge to practical application. We explore AI tool basics, governance and risk tolerance. Learners will understand the rules and best practices for integrating AI into the workplace in their chosen future industry. Learners will experience hands-on use of specific AI tools for professional tasks, ensuring participants can confidently and responsibly apply AI in the workplace.

Learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:
1. Describe the fundamental principles of AI, identify dilemmas and risks associated with AI tools in the workplace and recognise the importance of responsible AI governance in a professional context; and
2. Select, use, and evaluate AI tools in the workplace to increase efficiency and effectiveness in work tasks.
