Science and Technology Internship B PG (12232.1)

The unit bridges research, knowledge and skills from university study into real working environments. It provides an intensive period where realistic and comprehensive understanding of the complexity of professional settings can be experienced. Students are required to extend their engagement in everyday workplace activity where they can examine theories, practices, and the application of research skills, and refine their own developing understanding of professional practice. The internship is a tangible link between the university and the workplace and benefits graduate employability.

Recognition of prior learning (RPL) is not available for this unit as you are required to demonstrate application of theory, knowledge, skills, and attributes from within your current degree and not from previous qualifications and/or work experience.

Approval of the internship provider and the role, project, and/or responsibilities for the internship are required prior to enrolment in this unit.

This unit can either be taken simultaneously with or following Science and Technology Internship A PG.
