Learning outcomes
After successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:1. Demonstrate professional understanding of client dignity, cultural sensitivity and the ethical principles of informed consent in physiotherapy practice;
2. Apply and reflect on effective communication strategies and professional behaviours in simulated clinical environments;
3. Conduct and evaluate basic assessments and measurements for common motor and sensory impairments, and activity limitations, using effective techniques and clinical reasoning; and
4. Implement and assess physiotherapy interventions for common impairments, demonstrating appropriate exercise prescription and safe practice.
