The Professional Practice Capstone provides students the opportunity to solidify their learning through the development of a professional portfolio. This subject engages students in documenting critical reflective and reflexive skills as a means to synthesise and consolidate professional learning. Students develop and apply their understanding of educational evidence collection, analysis and other elements of study (including relevant professional standards) to authentic professional experiences, issues and/or initiatives. Students develop a professional portfolio which documents their reflexive capability and showcases the professional learning, leadership and/or pedagogical outcomes and impact of their experiences.
1. Demonstrate understanding of portfolio assessment and how advanced professional learning may be evidenced and validated through the application of theory;
2. Critically reflect on professional teaching and/or leadership practices and recognise their impact and influence on the educational workplace; and
3. Document, communicate and justify evidence-based decisions with reference to data and research applied to professional practice.

Learning outcomes
