Learning outcomes
On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:1. Apply critical thinking skills to assess key issues in contemporary public health practice and policy;
2. Review and analyse relationship between practice and policy for Public Health within varying contexts, e.g. community, national and international public health practice;
3. Critically analyse and evaluate public health policy including barriers to improved public health outcomes; and
4. Present a coherent and effective argument advocating for change in public health practice or policy.

Students undertaking this unit are required to participate in the tutorials either in person or remotely via Blackboard Collaborate. Participation in tutorials and group learning activities is essential to sucessful completion of the learning outcomes for this unit.
