This unit extends the principles of performance health management developed in unit 11922 Fundamentals of Performance Health. Students will extend their skills in the development of health programs through incorporating clinical epidemiological frameworks for designing and implementing prevention programs.
1. Apply principles of development of health promotion programs;
2. Select and incorporate clinical epidemiological frameworks in intervention program design; and
3. Design, implement and reflectively evaluate a health prevention intervention in a target population.
