User experience (UX) design is one of the core philosophies driving the development of our daily interactions with modern technology. UX designers create digital products - including apps, websites, wearables and more - that respond to our everyday needs, wants and desires. In this unit, students will learn how to create positive and meaningful experiences with digital technologies that respond to our social lives, buying habits, work and health patterns. Students will demonstrate their newfound understanding of user experience design through the creation of innovative digital experiences in response to real-world problems. The skills learnt in this unit will underpin future studies and career paths in an increasingly connected society.
