Medical Imaging Research Project A PG (11567.3)

In this unit students under supervision undertake the medical imaging research project that was designed and proposed in the completed Medical Imaging Project Design PG unit. Students also commence their write-up of the project outcomes which will be completed in the unit 11568 Medical Imaging Research Project B PG.

Learning outcomes

On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:
1. Conduct research in accordance with the previously approved design and evaluate the proposed formulated research objectives and research aim to answer a specific research question;
2. Critically review, evaluate and independently interpret and analyse the research data;
3. Reflect on, apply, integrate and synthesise literature with interpreted analysed findings; and
4. Scientifically communicate the analysed results in part of the dissertation write up and for a manuscript submission to an appropriate peer reviewed journal.
