Learning outcomes
On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:1. Conduct research in accordance with the previously designed and evaluate the proposed formulated research objectives and research aim to answer a specific research question;
2. Critically review, evaluate and independently interpret and analyse the research data;
3. Reflect, apply and synthesise the literature with analyses of interpreted data; and
4. Scientifically communicate the analysed results of the research project in part of a dissertation as well as for a manuscript submission to an appropriate peer reviewed journal.

Domain 4: Evidence-informed practitioner
This unit will allow students to undertake a medical imaging research project that has been designed in the previously completed 10039 Medical Imaging Project Design PG unit. Students will work independently to complete their ethics application, commence with their data collection, interpretation and analysis. Students will work closely with their supervisors. The project will be finalised in the unit 11568 Medical Imaging Research Project B PG.
