Learning outcomes
After successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:1. Identify the personal skills, capabilities and knowledge necessary to meet the work standards expected by psychology graduates in the workplace, and develop a personal and academic plan to achieve these;
2. Map out their academic and professional trajectories over the next five years in an ePortfolio;

Artificial intelligence
Students are not permitted to use generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) in assessments for this unit.
GenAI may only be used in authorised ways when completing assessments at UC. This means that GenAI can only be used for an assessment when:
- the Unit Convener has authorised GenAI use for that assessment
- the student uses GenAI in the way that the assessment instructions allow
- the student fully acknowledges their use of GenAI, with proper citations, references and a GenAI Acknowledgement Statement in line with the assessment instructions.
Where the assessment instructions do not specifically state that GenAI may be used and how, then its use is not permitted for that assessment. Students must still provide the required GenAI Acknowledgement Statement to indicate whether GenAI has or has not been used in the preparation of the assessment. If unsure, students should seek advice from the Unit Convener.

Special assessment requirements
In order to pass this unit, students must submit their AIM 2025 badge as well as achieve an overall mark of at least 50% for this unit. If you receive an overall mark in excess of 50% for this unit but have not submitted an AIM 2025 badge, you will fail the unit.

Participation requirements
Students are expected to attend lectures and tutorials, engage with online content made available on the Canvas site for this unit and complete at-home activities. Lecture and tutorial content will also be made available online on the unit Canvas site.
Required IT skills
Completion of the literature review and skills matrix will require an understanding of word processing software (e.g. Microsoft Word), and completion of the group presentation will require an understanding of Microsoft PowerPoint software or equivalent software.
The Mahara ePortfolio System will be used in this unit. Instructional videos are provided on the unit Canvas site outlining how to use the platform to complete the ePortfolio assessment.
