Industry Project (11197.4)

This unit gives students the opportunity to complete an applied research project in an agreed organizational setting. Students will use industry best practice research to identify opportunities for change and improvement in management areas such as strategy, policy or practice. Students will reflect on their understanding of the importance of values and ethical behaviour in supporting organizational change and improvement.

Learning outcomes

After successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:
1. Design and conduct an applied research project applying an evidence-based approach to a relevant industry;
2. Apply critical thinking, creative problem solving and ethical practice to manage an industry project and recommend changes and improvements; and
3. Analyse learning experiences through reflective practice to guide continuous professional growth.
