In this unit, students plan and execute a significant project in their chosen field of creative or cultural practice. Students will define a research question, professional practice or creative problem based on the application of appropriate theoretical frameworks. Students will commence this work in their research training unit prior to enrolling in this unit. Students will be appointed an appropriate academic supervisor to oversee their thesis/project. Students may work individually or collaboratively. The results of this investigation may be presented as a written work - up to 10,000 words in length, as a creative work in a form agreed with their supervisor, or as a professional project in a form to be agreed with their supervisor.

Unit material will be accessible through the Canvas website. Students are expected to conduct indepenant research and gather further resources through the UC library.
