To avoid the unfortunate situation in which a student, despite meeting the learning outcomes, fails the unit due to a late penalty, late submissions will be marked pass / fail.
Special assessment requirements
This unit includes assessable face to face meetings.
The unit includes formative assesments that must be conpleted. In instances in which the formative assesment is not completed the final film will not be assessed

Use of Text-Matching Software
The University of Canberra uses text-matching software to help students and staff reduce plagiarism and improve understanding of academic integrity. The software matches submitted text in student assignments against material from various sources: the internet, published books and journals, and previously submitted student texts.
Participation requirements
This unit requires independent work under supervision, including group work. The unit requires that students participate actively and in collaboration to plan, produce and reflect on major projects. Participation in project supervision meetings is required for successful completion of the unit.
Required IT skills
This unit assumes IT skills in line with the prerequisite units in the Film Production Major and Course.

While the University provides access to all equipment and software required to complete the unit, students may incur incidental costs in the production of projects.
