In this final capstone unit you will draw together the theoretical, practical and professional skills and knowledge acquired throughout your degree and demonstrate this in significant real-world products (projects or research) that are developed and delivered with your peers and academic supervisors for real clients. You will be guided in the transition to your career by understanding where, when and how to apply for professional work and you will reflect on your learning, understanding of professionalism and career-readiness through your e-portfolio.
1. Produce a CV and portfolio that demonstrate readiness for professional practice;
2. Create and deliver a capstone project that applies skills and knowledge developed throughout the course;
3. Work effectively both autonomously and collaboratively, managing time effectively, while anticipating and actively responding to challenges; and
4. Articulate and defend creative and strategic decisions, demonstrating the professional judgment expected of early-career communication and media professionals.
