- If you do happen to cough or sneeze, please do so into the crook of your elbow, dispose of tissues immediately and wash hands immediately
- Practise effective physical distancing;
- Follow all directions of teaching and other UC staff regarding safety measures;
- Stay off campus if you are unwell and get tested according to Queensland Government (links to an external site) guidelines, and Follow TAFE Queensland communications for current health and campus advice https://tafeqld.edu.au/current-students/health-advice.htmlLinks to an external site
Required IT skills
Basic computer literacy, including the use of Microsoft Office and the unit's Canvas site.
For those undertaking workshops online it will involve using the Virtual Room in your UCLearn teaching site. The Virtual Room allows you to communicate in real time with your tutor and other students. To participate verbally, rather than just typing, you will need a microphone. For best audio quality we recommend a microphone and speaker headset. For more information and to test your computer, go to the Virtual Room in your UCLearn site and 'Join Course Room'. This will trigger a tutorial to help familiarise you with the functionality of the virtual room.
