Learning outcomes
On successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:1. Employ loop-based composition software to compose and trigger music intended for live performance;
2. Implement synthesis techniques to create original software instruments, effects and popular articulations;
3. Employ samplers to create multi-layered virtual instruments;
4. Discuss legal aspects of sampling and demonstrate ethical usage of samples in original composition; and
5. Apply written and oral communication skills.
