Plagiarism or Copying of Graphic Material: Please note that penalties apply for plagiarism of graphic material. Please note that all assignments must be unique, or else it will be considered as plagiarism or copying and reported to the Faculty for further action. Penalties can be harsh. If in doubt, please discuss this with the Unit Convenor.

Use of Text-Matching Software
The University of Canberra uses text-matching software to help students and staff reduce plagiarism and improve understanding of academic integrity. The software matches submitted text in student assignments against material from various sources: the internet, published books and journals, and previously submitted student texts.

Please use tutorials to develop Assignments 1 and 3 - load PDFs of digital work or screen shots or hand drawings of your work-in-progress for in-class review and feedback before the hand-in date: on-screen viewing of 2D and 3D digital models are not acceptable and will not be reviewed in tutorials.
Required IT skills
While hand drafting of Assignment 3 is acceptable, 3-d drafting programs, such as Revit or Archicad, are encouraged, but 2-d drafting programs and hand-drawn drawings can also be used. Deisgn programs (such as Rhino and Sketchup) are also acceptable. Graphics programs (such as Illustrator and Photoshop) are NOT ACCEPTABLE.
